Sierra Leone Future Now

2. What is the plan?

Four year project: 2012-2016
Building the Nation of Sierra Leone for, by and through the Next Generation

Our goal is to raise $50,000.00 by 2016 to:

•Build and renovate our COGOP schools in Sierra Leone
•Plant churches on the campuses of these schools
•Start sports ministries that reach out to the community
•Disciple students and emerging leaders from these initiatives

We would like to extend a special invitation to youth groups to make this one of their mission projects. Specifically, we are looking for 50 Youth Ministry groups to commit to give $1000.00 towards the ministry in Sierra Leone.  Individuals are also welcome to send contributions of any amount.

Your financial support will be used for building construction, leadership development and launching the transportation ministry. Several missions teams will be leaving in April for Sierra Leone, so please join us in prayer for these teams and send in your contributions by March 1, 2013.

You can also purchase 4D devotionals, written by students and leaders.  All proceeds from sales go directly to Future Now: Sierra Leone.

Youth Harvest Training (YHT) is the official training arm for youth and camping ministries.  The curriculum is designed to train, assess and strengthen local, district and regional/state/national youth directors’ efforts in reaching, raising and releasing young men and women into Christian service in the power of the Holy Spirit.  The curriculum is developed from key focus areas that are meant to build and increase the leader’s competency for Last Days’ ministry.

The International Youth Ministries works in collaboration with National/Regional/State Overseers to plan YHTs for their area.  A typical event includes two-three days of intensive, practical and interactive classroom training (approximately 12-16 hours). See a schedule template here.
